On the 12th and 13th December Five Ways Primary School’s Year 5 and 6 pupils performed a musical play called Hosanna Rock.  They performed it in Kingsmead Technology College Theatre.  They did this play to give them a chance to perform in front of an audience.  They also performed it to entertain their parents.

Five Ways’ pupils have enjoyed doing the performance as much as the parents enjoyed watching it.  The performance was truly a success for everyone and the teachers loved it.  They all worked hard in the performance, they loved every second of performing and yet they want to do it again.

We are pleased to tell you that Five Ways and many other schools have put together a CD.  It is called ‘Sing Together’ and is only £5 from the school office.  Everyone had a wonderful time making this mind-blowing CD!  It is made up of 15 tracks (Christmas songs) and will make you smile whenever and wherever.  Also it would make a perfect Christmas present for any one.  The songs are from the Hosanna Rock performance.  The titles are ‘Hosanna Rock’, ‘How Can This Be?’ and ‘Lift Your Banners High’.
