Meeting the expected standard in Reading and Maths means that a pupil reached 100 or above in the standardised SATs tests. In Writing, it means that a pupil has demonstrated to their teacher that they met all the criteria linked to the required standard.  Working at a higher level in Reading and Maths means that a pupil reached 110 or above on the standardised SATs test.  In Writing, it means that a pupil has demonstrated that they are working at greater depth within the Year 6 writing criteria.
