I am pleased to announce that Lucy Gouge, who is in Mrs Robinson’s class in Year 4, won the ‘design a lorry’ competition that was organised by The Creed Foodservice Company, who supplies the ingredients for our school meals. Over 200 entries from local schools were received, and Lucy designed one of the 2 winning illustrations that will be displayed on the side of some of the Creed lorries. Lucy’s design will be unveiled on a Creed lorry at a prize giving event that will take place at Five Ways in September (details to follow). I am also pleased to announce that George Beale, who is also in Mrs Robinson’s class in Year 4, was a runner up in the competition. We also had 4 pupils who were in the Top 20 – Harrison Holland, Tarrin Stansbie, Joseph Rana and Kate Goodman. As a result of Lucy’s winning entry, the school will receive a £250 Back-to-School Creed credit voucher which is wonderful! I will look forward to writing to you again in September once the date and arrangements of the award event have been confirmed. Congratulations Lucy, George, Harrison, Tarrin, Joseph and Kate!
